Kubinka Tank Museum Review
full name in Russian : Центральный музей бронетанкового вооружения и техники
This post is a review of my visit to the Kubinka Tank Museum in Russia. What was once a classified military facility now boasts one of the largest tank collections in the world.
 |
Kubinka is a small town located on the western outskirts of Moscow Oblast in Russia.
|
It take about an hour and a half by taxi from the center of Moscow.
  |
A T-34 tank standing at the main entrance. which is very cool.

Tickets & Admission
|
The Kubinka Tank Museum is now part of the larger Patriot Park, which is broadly divided into three main zones:
No.1 Museum
Partisan Village
Tank Techno Center
You can purchase a combined ticket for all three sites, which cost 1,100 RUB at the time of my visit.
Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to visit the Partisan Village. (My money😭)

Inside the Museum
|
The main structure of Museum Site 1 is composed of six massive garage, shop-like, warehouse looking buildings.
Inside, the tanks are parked shoulder-to-shoulder.
As soon as I stepped inside, I smell a strong, pungent, toxic smell of gasoline and oil. It gave me a huge headache.
